Generate Worksheet from IO list
UploadingIO list
- Click on the Open file to upload the IO List File
- Locate the file and select it.
- Click Open.
To verify that the information has been successfully uploaded, please check the log section.
Verify Columns in IO list
To verify all columns in the IO List are compatible with Built-It, Press “Check Column Name Rockwell” or “Check Column Name Siemens” depends on the platform.
- Navigate to the IO List page.
- Click the “Check Column Name – Rockwell” button.
- After clicking the button, the column validation details will be updated in the Log section.
- If any column name is incorrect or missing, it will be mentioned in the Log.
- If errors are found, click the “Update IO-List” button.
- This will automatically update the file in the same location.
- Then, re-upload the file by following the steps mentioned in Section 2.1.
Generate Worksheet
- Navigate to the Worksheet page.
- Click the “Export Rockwell Worksheet” button. A success message will be displayed in the Log section. Verify the log to ensure the file has been downloaded correctly.
- To locate the file, click “Open Export Location.” This will open the file path. Then navigate to the Worksheet folder to view the exported file.
Upload Worksheet to Generate PLC/HMI assets
- Navigate to the Open File page.
- Select the exported AB Worksheet file.
- Click Open to confirm and load the file.
Generate PLC tags
- Navigate to the Software page. Before proceeding, confirm that the Worksheet file has been uploaded successfully.
- Select the correct PLC numberas mentioned in IO list.
- Select the required Control Modules.
- Click the “Export Tags” button to download the tags. A download confirmation message will appear in the Log section.
To view the exported file, click the “Open Export Location” button to navigate to the export folder.
Follow the same procedure for other PLCs or modules as required.
