Step-1: Generate Worksheet from IO list

Import IO list

1. Click on the Misc Tab on Sidebar
2. Click on the BrowseFile to upload the IO List
3. Locate the file and select it.
4. Click Open.

Verify Columns

Check all column names in IO list are matching with Build It Software.

If any of the column are not matching then it display in the log message with the unmatched column name, then it needs to changed in the IO list.

Please check the log section to verify Column names are correct

Generate worksheet

1. Navigate to the Worksheetsection from Misc Tab.
2. Click the “Export Rockwell Worksheet” button. A success message will be displayed in the Log section. Verify the log to ensure the file has been downloaded correctly.

Step-2: Upload worksheet and generate tags, rungs. Alarms

Upload Worksheet

1. Navigate to the Generate Tag section.
2. Select the required Software brand from the Brand dropdown list.

1. Press Upload File button to upload “generated worksheet” in the previous step
2. Select the File
3. Click Open

Generate IO Tags

When generating IO Tags, you can choose whether to link the tags with Hardware Alias Tags.

• By default, IO Tags are generated with Hardware Alias Tags.
• To generate IO Tags without Hardware Alias Tags, select the "Without Alias" checkbox before generating the tags.
