Step 1 – Download the Danfoss GSDML File

Go to the Danfoss website and navigate to the VLT® Midi Drive FC 280 PROFINET GSDMLIn the software section.

Download the VLT® Midi Drive FC 280 PROFINET GSDML file.

File required: GSDML-V2.33-Danfoss-FC280-...

Step 2 – Extract the Downloaded File

After downloading, locate the ZIP file in File Explorer.

Extract the ZIP file.

The extracted folder should contain the GSDML file insideGSD_PN5.14_FC280-20201030 Folder

required by TIA Portal.

Step 3 – Extract the GSD_PN5 Folder

Extract folder:

GSD_PN5.14_FC280-20201030

This folder contains the GSDML file used to add the Danfoss FC 280 drive to TIA Portal.
